"I actually I remember saying that I liked the final mission of the game and I wish the rest were more like that.
That being said, I saw 3 different endings that weren't all that-- the 200 endings refers to basically the same ending with swapped out images and narration depending on how you played...hardly a thrill...

yeah it was ok...
i got to see two now and they were okay not all that great.
i mean as far as the story went it worked
but like i somehow expected a bit more than that unavoidable ending.
you know what i mean
(dont wanna spoil it for others)
but all in all
great premise great ending
awesome awesome game
i guess i just wanted more

BTW, The movie Dan talks about with the action "stars" in it, The Expendables, is a very good book by Leonard B.Scott called appropriately enough: The Expendables......I recommend you check it out!!

Are you serious about the 200 endings? I know that's their PR line, but having played the game for 40+ hours and seeing my own ending, the "200 endings" line is at best incredibly misleading. As I complained on the Fallout 3 Ending thread, the ending was just Fallout Madlibs. "The Vault Dweller was and the many people he encountered. Then he the world," etc. I'd be curious to hear what the non-crappy endings you suggest exist are like. Maybe you're right and I just got unlucky like Dan, but even if that is the case and there are 190+ other non-crappy endings to be experienced, if 40 hours of my time isn't enough to get an ending that isn't crappy, I don't think the game should be forgiven for that flaw. (That said, I still loved this game a ton and will probably start another character eventually; I just won't have much interest in following the main quest and seeing it through to the ending)

They have a cool and clever way of infiltrating the place that Stephen Tobolowsky works so they can place bugs, etc. One of the tricks is, Akyroyd pretending to be a gardener and having to use the bathroom in the building.
