The problem is, the amount of effort this section of the boards puts into griping about the way a Free Show is shot is unbelievable.
There is no need for the constant new threads all stating the exact same thing.

I don't think it would bother me if everyone didn't make it seem like it was so life or death. Everyone seems to act like if they can't see an exact second of the show, their entire life is going to end. It's a broken record.

If you aren't happy with the way it's shot, move on. There are a crapload of other shows on Photoshop out there. Sure they don't have Bert, but not everything is perfect.

As for Bert not checking the forums, so what? He obviously reads and listens to the emails. Why does he have to hop into here? This is show discussion board for the fans. The fact that so many of the Rev3 hosts interact with their fans via the boards is a huge plus, but it's not something we should expect from them.

I can't give you much insight on the production practices, but what I can tell you is that the folks here do read the forums and do their best to address your concerns (really and truly - that's not a canned response!). So just keep writing your constructive criticisms here in the forums. For some people here, it works better than email. =)

Every Rev3 show has gotten that intro ad. I think it's a bad idea for them to do that as I think Gary V. is not for everyone. He's...an aquired taste if u will.

I'm impressed, very nice job!

The only thing I can see is that the shadow and the end of the ship are faded but the inside railing doesn't seem to.

Thanks for the advice. It's wierd just as I wanted to start teaching myself graphic design (I can't afford going back to school) the illustration work has picked up. So I'll see where I am in 2 months after I'm done with some projects.

higher DPI allows you more control and more detail. A 800x600 image at 72dpi is going to be larger (say 5inx4in) than a 800x600 image at 300dpi (like 3inx2in) or something. I usually work in higher DPI. What he meant by screen rez is that if you make an image 800x600@72dpi and your monitor is set to 800x600. Your image will fit perfectly and not be stretched at all.

Anyway I'm disguested that they went back to the camera on the LCD monitor. I thought they listened to our suggestions but I guess not. Maybe another email to Jim is in order...
