Most live linux distributions have a memory testing option on the boot menu/
trinity rescue kit.

I'm going to run that test and get back to you, the problem is this is my main computer that I use all the time so it is hard to find time to do testing.

OK, so finally found time to run memtest, no errors. So just to make sure (someone correct me if i'm wrong) but most motherboards an cheap RAM don't support ECC, right? Just to recap, RAM IS NOT THE ISSUE, the issue still persists, though very bizzare.
